Reviews

Jane Austen's 8-bit Adventure (2023, Bitwise Reprise) is a delightful throwback to the NES games of yore. Bitwise Reprise has given us the Regency platformer we should have had all along. If you're a fan of Austen's work, SMB, Castlevania, and libraries, check it out!”

Jane Austen's 8-bit Adventure from Bitwise Reprise and Matthew Justice is a bright, colorful, and unique look at literary history…” Twitter
“This game's great… Tons of fun!” YouTube

“This is a no-nonsense platformer where you're hopping from platform to platform, collecting pages of a book, and using a quill (yes, a quill) to fend off enemies. It's kind of like if Mario and Castlevania had a baby and that baby was raised by a British author from the 1800s.”
